Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo, an American author and actress. She started her career with the soaps of daytime like One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later seasons, had various support roles on primetime TV. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in The Bronx, NY) is an American performer and actress. Navedo began her career as an actor in daytime television soap operas. Between 1995 and 1997 Navedo starred on ABC's One Life to Live in the part of Linda Soto. Then, in 1999, she changed her name to Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. The actress began her career on film with a small part of Girl 6 (1996), and later, she was a part of the episodes New York Undercover (1997) as well as The District. Navedo was in Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the following year. Between 2001 and 2004 Navedo played a regular role in the NBC crime drama Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. He starred later on in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages, Blue Bloods as well as Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in a variety of other movies like El Cantante or Remember Me. Navedo played recurring roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 to 2013.
