Taylor-Swift

Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's achieved huge popularity with her stories that she shares about her childhood heartbreak. Swift developed an interest for musical instruments as a young person and swiftly progressed from participating in children's shows before making her first appearance front of an audience. Swift in 2011, aged 11 at the time, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. The year after that she began to write her own music. Swift wrote original songs that was inspired by country performers such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks), and Dixie Chicks. Her material reflected Swift's experiences with tweens and the feeling of alienation. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania together with her parents, to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she was 13 years old to dedicate more time to contacting label representatives from the country genre.
